"Food really missed the mark"
I went in hoping for a decent meal, nothing fancy, just something good and worth the stop, but the food was disappointing because my plate came out lukewarm, the flavors were really flat, and the whole thing kind of tasted like it had been sitting around for a while instead of being made fresh.

I hate being that person who leaves a bad review, but for what it cost, it just didn’t feel worth it to me. Maybe I caught them on a rough day, but I don’t think I’d come back here for the food again.

I’d save your time and go somewhere else. The staff didn’t come across as friendly at all, and it made the whole experience uncomfortable

I tried rockypointoregon.com i was kind of left wondering what I actually paid for. It wasn’t awful or anything, but it felt basic for the price, like… make it make sense.
I was expecting more helpful info and an easier overall experience. Maybe someone else would get more out of it, but for me, I wouldn’t pay for it again.

"Lake access wasn’t quite what I expected..."
I mainly booked this place because I thought getting to the lake would be super easy, but it ended up being a little disappointing. The walk was longer than I expected, it wasn’t totally clear where we were supposed to go at first?! The place itself was nice enough, no major complaints there. But if you’re booking mainly for quick, simple lake access, I’d definitely ask for more details before you go.

"Bathrooms really need some attention"
I stopped in and the bathrooms were just not in good shape, like gross right away, no toilet paper, and the smell was bad enough that it kind of stuck with me after. I know bathrooms can get messy when a place is busy and all that, but this was enough to really put me off the whole visit. Hopefully they get on top of it soon because it makes a big difference.

I was expecting the basics, but the room didn’t have a microwave, the WiFi was weak, and the tiny fridge barely kept our drinks cold. Not sure what was going on there??

"The room didn’t feel very clean to me"
The room and bathroom just didn’t feel all that clean to me. The floors were sticky, I noticed dust in a few spots, and overall it seemed like the place hadn’t really been checked properly before we arrived. Maybe I’m picky about cleanliness, but it was disappointing.

"An okay RV spot, but not one I’d rush back to"
We stayed here for a short trip, it was fine, just not especially memorable in the way you hope a getaway spot will be. I remember pulling in and feeling a little disappointed because the ground was uneven and our setup felt tighter than expected. The hookups worked alright, so we managed without any real issues, but it didn’t feel super comfortable or easy. The area itself was nice enough, and we still made the best of it, but I left thinking the RV sites could really use some attention.

"Cabin didn’t feel very comfortable"
We stayed in one of the cabins, and I don’t know, I was expecting it to feel a little cozier than it did. The location itself was nice, and I liked being away from everything, but then once we were actually inside trying to settle in, it just felt kind of uncomfortable.
The bed seemed old and sagged in the middle, and the pillows were almost flat. Also, it got cold at night, which I didn’t think would be a big deal, but the heater never really caught up. The chairs weren’t great either, super hard, so there wasn’t really a comfortable spot to sit and unwind after being out for the day.

For the price, I just thought the cabin would feel warmer and more relaxing, I guess. It wasn’t terrible, but I wouldn’t choose it again unless they updated the furniture and bedding. The area is fine, maybe even nice, but the cabin itself needs some work

I tried to finish my booking, but the site just wouldn’t let me complete it. It was really frustrating, it felt like I was just being ignored while trying to sort it out

"Maintenance wasn’t great"
The place just felt kind of neglected. The yard looked rough, and the rooms didn’t seem like they’d been kept up very well either. It wasn’t anything fancy to explain, it just had that messy, poorly maintained feel.

I was really looking forward to some peace and quiet, but it was way too noisy the whole time. I couldn’t relax at all, and it felt like such a waste of energy trying to tune everything out.

"Pretty underwhelming, and the policy excuses didn’t help"
I was expecting a much nicer Oregon view, but Rocky Point just felt kind of dull to me. The scenery wasn’t anything special, and a few spots looked a little rough, which was disappointing after making the drive. What made it more frustrating was hearing policy-related excuses instead of any real help or consideration. Maybe some people enjoy it, but it really didn’t give me that peaceful nature vibe I was hoping for

"Frustrating Customer Service Experience"
I reached out expecting at least some basic help, but i didn’t get anywhere. This is where it got annoying: no one seemed interested in actually solving the problem or even pointing me in the right direction. It felt like I was just being brushed off the whole time.

The fishing trip was kind of a letdown. I mean, you go out hoping to catch something and have a great day, right? But when nothing’s really biting, what can you do? It just wasn’t one of those memorable fishing days.

This just wasn’t a good boat rental experience. It felt way overpriced for what we got, and the staff didn’t really seem interested in helping much. If you’re trying to have an easy, fun day on the water, I’d save your time and look somewhere else.

"Wifi was okay, but cell service was frustrating"
Stayed here and overall it was fine, but the wifi got annoying. It worked for basic stuff here and there, then at night it would slow way down and I found myself just waiting for pages to load. Cell service wasn’t much better either, I had to walk around trying to find a decent signal, which got old fast. Not the worst experience, but if you need to stay connected, I wouldn’t count on it

I came here hoping to use the marina, but it was a bit of a hassle. The signs weren’t very clear, and I wasn’t sure where I was supposed to park or check in. It felt like the setup might make sense if you’re local or already know the area, but as a visitor I found it frustrating. If you’re planning to go, I’d definitely recommend calling ahead or asking someone familiar with the marina before you arrive. For me, it just wasn’t worth the confusion.

Check-in was such a hassle. The instructions weren’t clear at all, and when I had questions, it felt like nobody was actually available to help??? I ended up wasting way too much time just trying to get inside and settle in. Definitely not the kind of first impression you want.
